Mark is often up at the front of the pack and knocking at the door and this time went that step further. 817 is bred from an exceptional line of pigeons being through &#8220;Harry\u2019s Jewel\u2019&#8221; (Jan Hooymans &#8220;Harry&#8221;\u2019 x &#8220;Chanel No 5&#8243;\u2019 Pieter Veenstra). Crossed onto the world famous \u2018\u2019Golden Gabby\u2019\u2019 of M&amp;D Evans so a real concentration of Vandenabeele blood with a touch of Veenstra. &#8220;Harry&#8221; (above) of Jan Hooymans, whose blood runs through Mark&#8217;s winner, sadly passed away recently due to cancer after Jan done all he could do for his &#8216;special one&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Second place went to Smith and Moss of Anfield Plain, County Durham. Their first bird NEHU X1919 going over the pads and recording a velocity of 1334.47 ypm. The partnership entered two birds into the One Loft, both of which still remain. A great team performance was had as their other bird finished 18th. Their first bird picked them up \u00a3250 in prize money. Both birds were bred by Smith &amp; Moss\u2019s very good friend Paul Stobbs, with a touch of the late UNC legend Dennis Blakey in there too.<\/p>\n<p>X 1919 as follows: it&#8217;s Sire is from the following birds<br \/>\nSire &#8220;Bobs Choice&#8221; 1st West Durham Amal Clermont amongst a whole list of super performances.<br \/>\nDam: &#8220;Diamond Queen&#8221; 1st West Durham Amal Bourges<br \/>\nThe Dam of X 1919 is from:<br \/>\nSire from &#8220;Triple XXX&#8221; 1st UNC Dennis Blakey.<br \/>\nDam is a daughter of &#8220;Bob&#8217;s Choice&#8221; x &#8220;Surprise Surprise&#8221;<br \/>\nX 1919 is extremely inbred to &#8220;Bob&#8217;s Choice&#8221; and all four grandparents are West Durham Amal winners.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13348\" title=\"Charlie Smith of Smith and Moss (far right) on a trip to Malta with his good friend Paul Stobbs (far left)\" src=\"http:\/\/rpraoneloft.org\/southern\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/07\/csmith.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rpraoneloft.org\/southern\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/07\/csmith.jpg 700w, https:\/\/rpraoneloft.org\/southern\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/07\/csmith-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Third place went to Blues Brothers &#8211; no stranger to one loft racing &#8211; with their bird SU 18 379 on 1334.43 ypm, taking \u00a3200 prize money. This pigeon was bred out of a virgin pair both parents being 2017 bred but containing some outstanding winning blood lines. Dave gave us a run-down on the breeding of this super bird, which as you will see incredibly upped its game further and won the following hotspot!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-13349\" title=\"All the rage at the moment and for good reason. Bourges 22,645 birds, 28th Nat. Gueret 16,988 birds, 29th Nat. Bourges 11,883<br \/>\nbirds etc. She was 1st Belgian Ace Pigeon Allround Europacup 2013. The Dam is &#8220;Beauty Girl&#8221; a daughter of Broer Beautifly and Dochter Cow Girl. Beautifly won 8th Nat. Argenton 25,583 birds, 22nd Nat. Argenton 21,095 birds, 25th Nat. Bourges 22,476 birds etc. Cow Girl won 1st Nat. Bourges 24,676 birds, 68th Nat. Bourges 17,138 birds etc and was 1st Olympiad Pigeon Yearlings Poznan and 2nd Belgian Acepigeon Middle Distance Europacup.<\/p>\n<p>The Dam is a Van Den Bulk \/ Lambrecht cross. From Gibb and Byrne Ireland. Her Sire is the &#8220;Golden Kittel&#8221; a son of The &#8220;Kittel&#8221; and &#8220;Safyra. The Kittel was the best KBDB Ace Bird in Belgian History with a coeff. of 0.9! Safyra is Leo Hermans bred down from Jan x Olympaide.<br \/>\nHer Dam is &#8220;Beauty 43&#8221; a full sister to 2nd Nat. Ace KBDB 188\/13. She is bred down from a G\/Son of Olympiade, Kleine Dirk ( Sire of Usain 1st NPO ) and Donker Bart. A full sister to Beauty 43 has bred the winner of the Bamford Gold Ring Race 2018 winning \u00a31,500.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-13350\" src=\"http:\/\/rpraoneloft.org\/southern\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/07\/pbamford.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"259\" \/>Fourth place went to WHU 18 T 00115 at 1334.20 ypm, with Paul Bamford collecting \u00a3150 prize money and \u00a350 for his second pigeon in 14th\u00a0place.
