Good morning,
Yesterday the birds went for a little 16 mile fly, and made light work of it – they were all home in 21 minutes. It was quite warm, with a south westerly wind, but this didn’t faze them at all. I was rather annoyed having spent a period of time sorting electrics and installing wi-fi that irritatingly Benzing didn’t clock the pigeons in,
Today I will be taking them for a 16 mile fly, as its quite warm this afternoon. The clock will be on, however it will read so many out of 511, I am in the process of working out how to only mark the birds that have gone to the trainer without hand marking them.
Back to the plan, the birds should be going for the 41.5m tomorrow. Beforehand they will be hand marked so that everyone knows. We will have to see the weather for tomorrow, and work out what time is coolest, as the welfare of the birds always comes first.
