Yesterday the birds took part in trainer no 11, from 21 miles. 143 birds were basketed and 143 birds arrived home, loving life and clapping around.
Today we revisited the same location for trainer 12, and I hoped for a brilliant trainer. Yet again, we achieved this with 100% returns 144/144. The majority of the pigeons arrived together, doing over a mile a minute today. I could not be happier with the pigeons I’ve got at this point.
Tomorrow we shall be moving on to Caenby Corner, which is 30 miles. The birds will have 3 trainers from here, before coming back to the 16 mile spot from Monday to Friday, for the build up to Hotspot 1 from Wetherby a week on Monday.
