Good afternoon everyone,
Sorry for the delayed update – I have spent the last couple of days driving and collecting pigeons. In total I have picked up 8 pigeons and there are 2 more on their way.
We went to the 21 mile spot yesterday, but it is horrendous weather today, so we won’t be going anywhere. Later on I will hand mark the pigeons for tomorrow’s trainer from the 21 mile spot again. The plan going forward is to go to the 21 mile spot on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, followed by a break over the weekend, and then returning to the 21 mile for Monday and Tuesday. We’ll then increase to 30 miles for the remainder of the week, and the build-up to Hot Spot1 will be short, out the crate and home tosses.
The birds are in brilliant condition and I’m looking forward to the first race. We have been unfortunate in losing some, but I understand that we are not alone.
